In order to ensure the safety of the agents and their families, the experimental activities have been placed on standby in our Institute since the beginning of the containment period. 

Currently, the majority of the staff is teleworking and about 15% of our staff is ensuring the continuity of the protocols in progress as well as to make sure all the IRCAN equipment is functioning properly.  It is crucial to ensure the progressive resumption of our activities as soon as the containment will be lifted.

Solidarity is also essantial in this period: From the very beginning of the health crisis, IRCAN, like many other research institutes, wanted to support hospital services on the front line in the management of this pandemic.  

Thus, on March 27th, 300 surgical masks, 420 FFP2 masks, 30 FFP3 masks, 5 000 pairs of gloves, 300 disposable gowns and 200 charlottes were given to the Nice University Hospital and hospitals in Grasse.

All IRCAN personnel continue to provide support to the medical staff of the Nice University Hospital as well as at the national level.
